Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns are ONLY accepted if you receive an item damaged with video proof that your purchase wasn’t damaged or tampered with by the shipping company. For example, a broken kindle/phone charm or a magnetic bookmark that doesn’t stay closed. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at tayloredtoyou__@outlook.com. Please note that the return address will be provided via email if your return is approved. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We keep a video/picture record of how all items are shipped so that we can hold both ourselves & shipping companies accountable for damage!

We ONLY take returns on items that are damaged with video proof upon unboxing the item(s)!

If we confirm that damages are the fault of the shipping company, it is your responsibility to file a claim with your tracking info! Thanks for your support & understanding!


Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on the book you receive because the idea is it is a blind date with a book! With that, you are taking a risk of receiving a book that you already own but we encourage you to not let that stop you from giving it a try! You can always regift your book or donate it to a local neighborhood lil free library! Each book is advertised as great to like-new condition but you may notice some slight ware. We do our best to make sure they are as well taken care of as possible and we are so excited to be giving gently preloved books new homes! All of our other items are advertised as a surprise therefore you’re not going to know exactly what you’re getting! You’ll just have an idea based on the selections you make when adding to your cart! Therefore, we only take returns on items that are damaged with video proof upon unboxing the item(s)! Thanks for your support & understanding! 


Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
Exchanges aren’t accepted unless you are returning an item sent defective to you, with video proof that your shipping box wasn’t damaged or tampered with by the shipping company. If you order the wrong size kindle case, unfortunately we don’t accept exchanges for this item as it is your responsibility to check what size kindle you have! The only other way an exchange will be accepted is if it is an error on our end and we send you the wrong item! Thanks for your support + understanding! 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
